Choosing the offer
After access restrictions affected Facebook in Russia, several markets were tested, including Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Poland and Belarus. Kazakhstan showed stronger approval rates and steadier conversions. AMST watches were selected despite being an older offer.
Preparing creatives
Around ten existing creative concepts were found on Instagram, YouTube and through an ad-research tool; a few original variations were added. Video ads focused on the watches and their advertised features.
Campaign setup
The traffic was targeted at men aged 21–65 in Kazakhstan, excluding Baikonur. Campaigns used automatic bidding and a seven-day click attribution window. Each account ran two ad sets with different creatives.
Optimization and outcome
The team turned off unprofitable ads daily and replaced fatigued ones, using five accounts. The campaign produced RUB 346,500 in revenue on RUB 168,250 in spend: RUB 178,250 profit and 105.9% ROI. The lesson: an older offer can still perform if the market and creatives fit.
